AC Hotel by Marriott Grand Rapids Downtown

Exceptional

Liked: The hotel was near the venue we were going to for a concert. Staff was friendly and super helpful. Even recommended a great place to eat.
Disliked: It was an accident but they forgot to give us our parking g receipt back so when we went to leave the JW Marriott ramp the next day, we had to use the help button and explain the situation so they could let us out of the ramp

Liked: The property was in a good location in Grand Rapids. Right on the edge of the grand Valley State University campus. The rooms were clean. The staff was very friendly.
Disliked: Parking was a little bit challenging. But you could pull right up to the hotel to load and unload. And just had to park across the street and around the corner not ideal for a late night parking but otherwise fine.

Liked: SUPER CLEAN!!!Felt very safe, that means alot when traveling alone. Friendly staff at front desk, had the answer to all questions. I had the best Margherita of my life, truly, at the bar right after I checked in. Super personable bartender and then a female bartender came on as it started to get busy and she was terrific as well. Loved the location close to the arena for the college graduation. Everything was excellent.
Disliked: Shampoo and body wash was VERY masculine scented. I brought little bottles of my own so I was really glad about that. That is the only thing that was not good but I foresaw that possibility and it worked out.

Liked: The location is a great as it is a short walk to Van Andel arena. We had tickets to a concert. A bit pricey. Parking not on site but across the street behind another parking garage. Not ideal.
