Located along the prestigious Paseo de la Castellana thoroughfare the AC Hotel Aitana is 820 feet from Santiago Bernabeu Stadium. It is also opposite the Congress Palace events center. This modern hotel is full of bright and comfortable spaces. All rooms have a mini-bar. There is a flat-screen TV with international channels and special reading lamps. Location was great for a...

Liked: Traveled for Real Madrid game, amazing location, could walk to stadium. The concierge was wonderful. Rooms were spotless and very modern. Very comfortable bed and lovely area around hotel.
Disliked: The restaurant was very pretty and the food we had was pretty good however, the staff at the restaurant were overall fairly grumpy. We didn't find them accommodating at all any of the 3 times we visited and this was consistent with everyone we engaged with there. One gentleman knew we wanted brunch and everything was still out but they were in a hurry to close it up and started taking things away so we couldn't eat. He even wheeled the coffee away. Didn't return to hotel restaurant after that.

Great hotel in quiet area.

Liked: Room was big and spacious and everything really clean! Shower good walk-in size with bathrobes and slippers for you to use. Quiet area, no noise at night -at least that we could hear. Room is cleaned every day with clean towels and all.Hotel offers breakfast too. We didn’t have any but it looked really good and with lots of different options to choose from. Staff were friendly and they gave us both rooms way before our check-in time, which was amazing! They also can keep your luggage with them if needed. Free waters, coffee and tea in the rooms as well as water and candy in the lobby. Hotel is located right by Santiago Bernabéu, so if you are seeing a game there it’s really convenient, if not, plan around it in case you are using metro or taxi. There are 2 metro stations nearby and Atocha is like 20 min car ride. There are some stores nearby and coffee/breakfast places around the area too. If you are trying to stay near the true downtown (Gran Via/Chueca) you are 15 min away on metro.
Disliked: Can’t think of anything that I didn’t like!
