Liked: Location was good, very helpful staff
Disliked: Air conditioning was broken in room and very hot. No USB ports in room for charging devices.

Great hotel

Liked: Great looking hotel with stunning period features if a little tired around the edges with lots of places needing a re-paint.
Disliked: There was 1 staff member at breakfast who really shouldn't be in hospitality! To say she was cold and unhelpfully is an understatement.

Liked: The staff were great and the hotel really nice.
Disliked: We had a slight issue with the bed in the middle of the night. The porter came up and fixed it, and then they gave us free breakfast which I thought was good. tks !

Manchester ABode Hotel

Liked: Welcoming staff, good location, breakfast, room size and bathroom and history of the building.
Disliked: Room ventilation could be easier although it was a very warm week. There is a fancy Dyson air blade but the windows were difficult to open.

Disliked: First of all our view was appalling, roof with scaffolding, windows were painted shut and some nailed shut so no air , heating system not functional! Just a small Dyson fan in the corner!,bed had no legs on one side so made for an uncomfortable nite and the mattress was way too soft , no water in room! It was hot and stuffy , the room above sounded like it had a tap dancer in it, so noisy! But the worst part was as my husband went out to get water there was 2 young men on the stairs doing "coke" off the bannister, totally unacceptable and I reported this 2 reception , wont be back ! Disappointing stay, told reception and was offered a coffee!! Thanks but no thanks!!
