Comfortable stay in city centre...

Liked: Everything about the hotel was pretty much as presented via website and pictures so met expectations.Room was much bigger than most "new" hotels in the city centre plus a bright light in the middle of the ceiling which is almost unheard of in other hotels. Staff on reception and at breakfast were all friendly and helpful and there's clearly a chef who knows what they're doing when it comes to a full English breakfast!
Disliked: Nothing, all good.

Liked: Quirky building in a fantastic location. Decent size room with a big bed. Shower was brilliant! Staff were very friendly.
Disliked: Bed wasn’t the most comfortable - mattress was far too soft for our liking.

Liked: They offered us a free upgrade on arrival as there were spare rooms which was a nice touch. The staff were really helpful and pleasant. The locations was excellent and the room was quirky but very nice.

Liked: on arrival, we were able to check in before 3pm, which was ideal.my room was small but servicable, bed and pillows comfortable, bathroom much smaller than my friends bathroom. there were silver fish in the bathroom on the floor, which creeped me out that i would have them on my bare feet and then take into the bed. the shower leaked and had been sealed, but the silverfish obviously were there due to the damp from the shower. i was disapointed with this given the fee paid, surface wise everywhere looked clean, turned the bedside light on staurday morning to find the headboard to the bed was dusty. some previous guest had left the contents from their nose on the tiles by the toilet, which the cleaner had obviously missed, not her fault just the fithy article who had stayed in the room before us.sad with the above as wanted to stay there for a while, bar, reception etc was nice, staff helpful.overall it was ok, just slight snags with the room as above.
Disliked: room could have been cleaner, didnt like to see silverfish in the bathroom when i had bare feet . i did report this on check out, the young lady said she had no manager on at that time, but would forward my concerns on.
