Disliked: Had only one lift and broken.Shower room design mistake - the bathroom floor all wet after shower. Noise at night!

Dissapointing

Liked: The fact it was in the city.close to all the amenities and the parking was behind the hotel were we left our car there for our 2 night stay, we were staying in Manchester as my son was graduating at the university there and we could use a taxi to get there so everything was very convenient
Disliked: Room abit dissapointing ,compared to the booking .com pictures I've always found this though! ,our room coukd of done with a refresh ,shower leaked onto the bathroom floor so towels placed on floor during the shower ,receptionist was nice enough on arrival but could of been abit more enthusiastic explaining what's available in our room ? Don't hesitate to ring down iff you need anything etc none of that ,nothing explained about breakfast and Dining times ,i know there.is literature floating about but still please talk to your guests like they matter ,becsuse it puts people off going again and the abode wasnt exactly cheap either.....coukd do better Manchester abode engaging with your guests

Liked: The staff were absolutely beautiful - kind, friendly, helpful. Young people who desreve to be celebrated and commended.
Disliked: I need a dark room to sleep in. The curtains didn't close adequately. I couldn't get to sleep for a long time. The pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable.
