Everything was what l expected...

Very good

Liked: Everything overall the views to the local library
Disliked: The show a rooftop to the cathedral in the photos which doesn't exist. Please be honest.

Was alright. Bit disappointing

Liked: Was central to Canterbury so very easy access
Disliked: For what we paid, it was not worth it. It’s priced as luxury and it wasn’t that. Peeling paint, very basic room. Was super thrilled with it.

Liked: The room was great, lovely to have a bath and there were enough plug sockets in the right locations.
Disliked: Perhaps the room was a tiny bit tired around the edges and the poached eggs at breakfast could have done with another couple of minutes.

Liked: The property was beautiful and the location was absolutely perfect as it took us 3 minutes to walk to the venue of a party we were attending. It was so close that we went back a couple of times to change or drop something off that we didn’t need. The staff were so friendly and welcoming, beds were comfy, taps and showers had good water pressure which personally makes the difference for getting ready to go out or morning routine etc. We were able to park around the back even though spaces are limited but being right in the Center this was understandable and wouldn’t have been the end of the world if we had to park in an offsite car park. Would highly recommend.
Disliked: Some aspects were a little dated (shower fittings, hallway carpets etc) which was fine by me but may not be to other guests tastes but you can see from the outside that the building has been renovated as best as possible and a bit of dated character never goes a miss. Already mentioned the limited car park spaces but Abode has more rooms than car parking spaces so they’ve done well with what they have. It’s tucked round the back and well signed with a barrier and buzzer that connects to the front desk so that brings more of a silver lining to the lack of spaces.

Liked: We loved the location, right in the heart of everything so extremely convenient.
Disliked: The price was mainly for convenience of location. The room we had was very average, comfortable bed and clean but the bathroom was in desperate need of a refurb. Very small and shower pretty useless as didn't drain so you might has weel have had a bath.
