V G, Edinburgh, visiting The Lemon Tree Aberdeen
Liked: Everything about the hotel was excellent - the lovely entrance area; well appointed room with everything thought of for the traveller, even an iron and board! The bed was large and very comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely amazing - the most generous spread we have ever seen in any B&B situation! The staff were all bright, cheerful, helpful and very professional. We highly recommend this hotel.
Disliked: Very limited car parking and difficult to stop outside. We parked overnight in a car park recommended a 5 minute walk away, for which the hotel gave us a 20% discount card. From 7.30 p.m. to 11 a.m. the next day the cost was £11.40.

Very good
Liked: A nice walk in shower and a clean room.
Disliked: The hotel bar closes when the restaurant closes. Not everyone wants to go down to a busy/noisy pub

We only stayed 1 night...
Liked: The hotel was all very clean and comfortable.
Disliked: It was difficult to find the car park and then get into it. Think we will be getting a fine for driving in a bus gate area which we weren’t aware of until my partner’s son told us about it but it is the road right outside the hotel where we drove past looking for the car park . Maybe this should be noted on website.

Terrible stay, old rooms which...
Liked: Location
Disliked: The hotel rooms are so dated and smelt really musty. They located us in the furtherest away roomFrom the lift making us go up and down 2 sets of stairs every time when we had a newborn baby with us. The room they gave us was located right above the Irish bar which was really loud until early hours of the morning. Not ideal with a newborn baby. Room spelt really bad and old as if it hadn’t been used in a while. Wouldn’t stay again or recommend

Poor room facilities and breakfast...
Liked: Great location.
Disliked: The room had no refrigerator. It was just a bed only. Size also quite tiny.Their breakfast was damn poor. Baked beans, fried egg, bacon and Haggis only for a whole week. No variety. Certainly not value for money. I have stayed in better places in Aberdeen for far less cost.

Very old hotel
Liked: Clean, spacious, plenty of towels and good shampoo, kids loved room and had s bath too.
Disliked: No youtube or apps on tv, so we did a screenshare for kids to be able to watch cartoons. Flooring is broken under carpet, in many places you can hear how wood is cracks broken amd you can feel a hole under carper, walls have big cracks on them, a bit creapy old hotel. No coffee machine during breakfast time, only ready made coffee which tastes strange. No cooked mashrooms or hashbrowns, fruit salad looked not nice at all. All yougurts are half fat or fat free which isnt good for kids. Bacon had a dark grey marks like overfrozen, so probably not cooked from fresh.Windows are soooo old that we stragled to open them, also it no handles on windows so it no stays open..
