V G, Edinburgh, visiting The Lemon Tree Aberdeen

Liked: Everything about the hotel was excellent - the lovely entrance area; well appointed room with everything thought of for the traveller, even an iron and board! The bed was large and very comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely amazing - the most generous spread we have ever seen in any B&B situation! The staff were all bright, cheerful, helpful and very professional. We highly recommend this hotel.
Disliked: Very limited car parking and difficult to stop outside. We parked overnight in a car park recommended a 5 minute walk away, for which the hotel gave us a 20% discount card. From 7.30 p.m. to 11 a.m. the next day the cost was £11.40.

Great transit location

Liked: Great location - close to the train and bus stations. Perfect for catching the airport bus which runs every 15 minutes from 3am. Molly’s had nice lunch options. The rooms were not huge but bed was comfy and we could open the window for some fresh air.
Disliked: Aberdeen seems to be undergoing some renewal projects. Lots of street construction and boarding up of open spaces

Last train to Penzance

Liked: I stayed there on the 15th of May 2025 to get for tomorrow's railway journey from Aberdeen to Penzance and l last UK longest railway journey from Aberdeen to Penzance run by cross country and after tomorrow it be withdrawn from Penzance and will terminate at Plymouth n

Fabulous hotel, nice retro feel...

Liked: The staff were fantastic and very accommodating of my wife's vegetarian diet.
