Liked: Lovely surrounds, very friendly staff, good facilities overall, just didn't realize kitchen was out of room, but the shared kitchen was well stocked and suitable for cooking in the way it was laid out. Otherwise room was lovely and very comfortable.

A very quiet and comfortable...

Liked: We chose this lodge for its location near the Able Tasman National Park. It is perfectly set up for any travellers wishing to enjoy the region. Our room was modern, spacious and comfortable, with a large and cosy bed, looking out over the attractive gardens. The bathroom was well designed and the shower hot and strong. We loved being able to cook our dinners in the well appointed guest kitchen and eating quietly on our little deck. Some travellers might appreciate the guest laundry and shoe cleaning area. Our host was friendly and informative and we particularly appreciated that she notified us in advance of changes in the area.
