No AC! Too hot to...

Liked: The pool was fun for the kids
Disliked: We got there an hour after check in time and still had to wait a half hour for our rooms to be ready, rooms were 77° when we got in them and after turning the thermostat down it still didn’t drop below 70° the whole night, I told the front desk and was told they take awhile to cool off. the second night it was 85° in the room and this was with the thermostat set to 60° we could not sleep and packed our stuff around 3 am and left shortly after, the whole place seemed to warm and stuffy, I know the temperatures outside were hot but 85° is the best the ac can do?!? NEEDS FIXED!!

Liked: Loved the waterpark, and the and the room was rustic and roomy. Having a resturant upstairs was nice too!
Disliked: The beds were very hard, so did not get much rest.

My stay

Liked: Loved the location and pool area and employees.
Disliked: Pillows were awfully small and rough like they were very old and the sheets had rips in them

Tvs do not work

Liked: The facilities were neat and tidy very comfortable
Disliked: There are 2 tvs in the cabin. My 85 year old mother was with us, and all she does is watch TV. Neither tv worked. i contacted staff about the issue 3 times, and there was a work order put in. However, they NEVER WORKED.. I told staff about this again at check out and also called 2 days after check out, and I still have not received my credit that was promised.

Liked: Nice cabin

It was fun overall but...

Liked: Location (the state park), rustic atmosphere in lobby and common areas, and aquatic center.
Disliked: The rooms are very outdated and our friends experienced maintenance issues with water in the ceiling from a/c. The buffet is way overpriced. I would think there would be a child price difference. We paid $80 for a family of four. It was ridiculous!
