Exceptional
Liked: This is an exceptionally well organized and equipped small inn. A lot of thought has gone into the rooms to make staying there easy and relaxing. Breakfast had lots of options and was well prepared. Hosts were friendly but not at all intrusive. Answered our questions about places to eat/go and every suggestion that we tried was spot-on!
Disliked: Can't think of anything.

Liked: The location was great. The place was really nice and would be beautiful looking in spring n summer months.The bed is really comfortable, inside the cottage is cute n very clean. The Cottage is cute n on its own that's what I really liked about it.
Disliked: My daughter n myself stayed the weekend when it was -5,-7 n 10 degrees the cottage was very cold. So we block the front door n the sliding door with our bags n ottomans the heat wouldn't go past 70 the room temperature stayed ared 66-68 in the cottage I asked for a space heater they said they would turn up the heat but it only went up to 70 degrees on the heater pad it wouldn't pass 70 degrees that is my only complaint on the stay other then that it was good

Liked: This was the most adorable, cozy place we?ve ever stayed! Getting our breakfast delivered to our room was so incredible. The food was delicious, our room was perfect. We can?t wait to come back!

Home away from home: we...
Liked: What?s not to love about Abbey?s? Amazing location, quiet and serene woodsy scenery, yet only a couple minutes away from the fun and excitement of the casinos and Mystic Village! Makes you feel right at home from the moment you pull in. We stayed in the Mystic room and could not have fallen more in love. It felt like we were coming home for the holidays with the coziness and warmth of the property, the room and Erika and Peter of course! The jetted tub in the room set everything off and made it extra special. We were there for our ?babymoon? and we have never felt so relaxed and peaceful. Breakfast each morning was amazing, the bed was comfortable and everything was CLEAN! It left us wanting for nothing and we will definitely be back!

We came for a quiet,...
Liked: The room was cozy, the sheets were soft and clean. The bathtub was nice, and the fireplace was beautiful. Breakfast was delicious with a good assortment of options. The owners were more than pleasant and kind. It was 5 minutes from Foxwoods and about 15-20 from Mohegan. We were also a short drive from Mystic. Just far enough from each where it is still quiet and you don?t get the business and noise of the casinos.
Disliked: nothing at all.
