Insect room mates

Disliked: Asked for a second fan for my partner and got called 'Sir' straight away by the young madame on the desk.. And in that way where you made a little mistake! Then found an insect infestation. No clue about costumer service I'm afraid and creepy crawlies but galore.

Liked: Great location for Electric Bay festival. Only a short walk to the marina. The staff were amazing, especially Elaine. Ver helpful on the phone prior to our arrival, and was fully prepared for us when we arrived on the Saturday. Thank you, Elaine. Would recommend for anyone looking for a short stay by the Bay on a budget.

Liked: Apart from the lovely staff at reception during the night, not much to be honest.
Disliked: We were not informer before we checked in that they had closed the facilities at the hotel. No indoor pool, no outdoor pool (and no bar). We especially book that hotel for the swimming pool and the hotel was more expensive than others. So finding out everything was closed just when we checked in was beyond disappointing. They didn't offer any sort of compensation as well and it was too late to find another accommodation as everything was sold out. Also the rooms clearly need to be redone, quite old, smells of damp.. we could only open one windows but barely and we only had a fan available in the room with no airconThe whole trip was sadly disappointing.
