The Abbey Hotel Bath is a Marriott Tribute Portfolio Hotel. These are Independent Hotels with unique local character and vibrant social scenes. The Abbey hotel is an historic listed building in the heart of Bath City Center next to Sally Lunns Bakery Bath Abbey and short stroll from the Train Station. The Abbey Hotel Bath has 65 unique rooms with original period features and several styles celebrating the city's literature film and artistic heritage. All bedrooms offer free WiFi bespoke Hypnos beds and in-room amenities. Premium rooms offer panoramic views of the city. The vibrant ArtBar showcases curated art collections. We refresh the art on display several times per year. A full plated breakfast and ala carte dinner are served in the Abbey Kitchen Restaurant with stunning Bath street views. During the summer months we open a wide pavement terrace that offers al fresco dining. During the Christmas season the same space is transformed to house a pop-up Alpine Ski Bar topped with snow and twinkling lights.

Excellent location friendly staff great...

Liked: The decor was lovely and the bed was very comfortable.
Disliked: The room was quite small

Fabulous all around!

Liked: Staff were incredible, room was so lovely, and I really enjoyed the breakfast options. Best hotel stay I’ve ever had!
Disliked: My only complaint is that the entrance door is a bit small, though I appreciate staff can’t control that.

Invest in mold and mildew...

Liked: Wonderful location and employees are friendly but clearly know there are issues.
Disliked: Hotel is somewhat older and shows signs of wear and tear. Issue is more with the cleanliness. Corners are cut and it shows in the state of the rooms and bathrooms.

Beautiful hotel, great location and...

Liked: The property was located very central which allowed us to leave the car and walk everywhere. We loved the listed Georgian building, very beautiful. The square where it was situated was really pretty!
Disliked: Our unit was on the top floor with many steps. Not great when carrying your luggage up so many floors.
