Liked: We've stayed before and were so impressed it was our first choice for a re visit. Staff were always smiling and helpful. Breakfast was excellent.They gave us the same room, which pleased us to know they had been aware of our previous visit and comments.

Disliked: Seemed to be a bad smell in the room, it was below road level, should have changed rooms.

Liked: This hotle is a perfect location, and reslly high quality for the age of the building. Its only a few mi utes walk from most attractions and a straight route from the station.Nice breakfast, if a little on the pricier side for what is offered. I got a Complimentary upgrade to my room which was a lovely surprise. The room itself was very clean, spacious, and had good amenities. If you looked closely some of it was a little worn like the limescale on the toilet piping and a crooked chandelier, but nothing to detract from the overall stay. I had a lovely interaction with Charlie behind the bar who offered me a tester of a new cocktail he was working on for free, and was a lovely way to end out the evening.
