Abbaye de Sainte Croix is a magnificent 12th Century abbey that was fully restored in the 70's to become a beautiful 4-star hotel in Salon-de-Provence. WiFi is available in shared areas free of charge. The monks' former living quarters have been converted into luxury suites and guest rooms and are defined by their original superb Romanesque architecture that features high-vaulted ceilings and rustic decor. Restaurant La Table de L'Abbaye offers refined cuisine and excellent local vintages and you can enjoy panoramic views while dining on the terrace. The hotel is about a 28 mi scenic drive from Avignon Les Baux de Provence and Aix en Provence. The surrounding area also provides many activities such as mountain biking hiking horseback riding hunting fishing sailing water-skiing and diving. We have 2 electric vehicle charging station. When traveling with pets please note that an extra charge of 15€ per pet per night applies.

If you are going to...

Liked: The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The situation is incredible. Breakfast was excellent. The view from the terrace was breathtaking. The bed was super, and I like that there is no stress about housekeeping. The decoration was tasteful, and you can tell a lot of love went into the renovation.
Disliked: The road. Leading up to the hotel is a 500m long goat path full of potholes. Not the best for a normal car - luckily we had a raised hatchback. If you meet someone coming the opposite way - good luck.The bathrooms could use an update.

A place in inspiration and...

Liked: The Abbaye was an amazing experience. The view from our balcony, the huge room, the staff couldn't have been more lovely and you could tell they were so proud of their gorgeous facility. The dinner and breakfast were probably the best I've had in all our years of travelling...Inspired is the word that comes to mind.
