Perfect home from home.

Liked: Fabulous landlady who went the extra mile to give us a packed breakfast when we had an early start and who took the time to chat to us and get to know us. Ask her about her famous coconut chutney. Delicious!

Liked: Breakfast was good. Doreena was wiling to accommodate and she was very engaging, friendly and had good humour.
Disliked: The accommodations are in need of major renovations. The basement (advertised as main floor) was horrible. There was a strong and unpleasant smell and no circulation of air in that suite. The upstairs rooms were advertised as having private bathrooms, but the bathrooms were across the hall. The advertised hot tub is not connected. Pictures on the Booking site do not reflect reality.

Liked: Everything was fantastic! Attention to detail and comfort is completely taken care of here. Dorina is lovely and so incredibly caring. They went above and beyond to accommodate my dietary restrictions and pack a breakfast for me before the ferry! Wonderful folks and wonderful place to stay.
Disliked: Nothing, it was all wonderful.

Liked: Super friendly husband and wife greeted us and very convenient location!
Disliked: Because we needed two beds (mother daughter trip) we stayed in the ground floor area. I think it probably wasn’t maybe as nice as some as the other rooms they have at this property. It’s an older building and we just saw a little bit of that. The sheets were definitely washed but there was a hair or two stuck from the washing machine in the bed and the soap from the last guests were still in the shower. Just little things the owners missed. And overall you can tell they love what they do and they were so sweet. I actually would stay here again, just in a different room.
