Exceptional
Liked: Very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable owner, who welcomed us into her lovely home right on the bayou. Claudette gave us great recommendations for where to eat dinner and places to visit. Her home cooked breakfasts were delicious and nutritious. Free WiFi was very fast.

Great place to stay in Louisiana.
Liked: Die B&B is directly located at the riverside of the Bayou. It's a great location and sitting in the pavillion is very relaxing. Claudette is a very friendly host. She helped us to book tours, order food and she told us interesting stories about the region.

Disappointing
Liked: Nice veranda next to the water.
Disliked: Value for money wasn't there. Very expensive for what we got- an ordinary room in an ordinary house. Did not meet the advertised expectation of a 5-star, award-winning BnB.

The food was delicious in the many restaurants where we dined and the country was beautiful.
Liked: Location was fine. Pretty on the outside, near the bayou.
Disliked: The room was very tiny, detached from the main house. The B&B is still in the process of recovering from hurricane damage. There were no kitchen services available. The breakfast consisted of a single serving boxed cereal and a small single serving container of milk. Had we known ahead of time, the conditions at the site, we would not have booked the reservation. The owner, Claudette, was intrusive and overbearing. I sympathize with her plight.

Its a great place to tour the bayou country from and to relax in the evening!
Liked: It is well located for visiting lots of places southwest of New Orleans. The house is situated on the water, and there is a lovely terrace by the water to sit and rock. I spent one fun late afternoon there with a French couple explaining menus from local restaurants. Claudette made it a party by bringing out a lovely hors duvre plate and wine for us all! Our room was in a separate place away from the house. It was very well-equipped with everything we could possibly need, including snacks and plenty of breakfast that featured a homemade yogurt parfait. Claudette has all sorts of local contacts and travel information for browsing. Very helpful!
Disliked: Nothing.
