Great place to stay in Louisiana.

Liked: Die B&B is directly located at the riverside of the Bayou. It's a great location and sitting in the pavillion is very relaxing. Claudette is a very friendly host. She helped us to book tours, order food and she told us interesting stories about the region.

Disappointing - 2.0 out of 5

Lynn Tue, 19 July 2022

Disappointing

Liked: Nice veranda next to the water.
Disliked: Value for money wasn't there. Very expensive for what we got- an ordinary room in an ordinary house. Did not meet the advertised expectation of a 5-star, award-winning BnB.

Poor - 0.5 out of 5

George Wed, 6 July 2022

The food was delicious in the many restaurants where we dined and the country was beautiful.

Liked: Location was fine. Pretty on the outside, near the bayou.
Disliked: The room was very tiny, detached from the main house. The B&B is still in the process of recovering from hurricane damage. There were no kitchen services available. The breakfast consisted of a single serving boxed cereal and a small single serving container of milk. Had we known ahead of time, the conditions at the site, we would not have booked the reservation. The owner, Claudette, was intrusive and overbearing. I sympathize with her plight.
