An excellent older Victorian home on Massachusettes Avenue in Cambridge about 1 1/2 miles from Harvard Square. The staff was very attentive upon arrival. The room was plush with details reminiscent of it's time. A beautiful four poster queen sized bed in the center of the room was extremely comfortable. The room itself was well decorated and felt very homey.

Disliked: Gas fire place in room was not operating.

Liked: Loved the location. Staff was helpful with an early check-in. Nice and close to the Davis T station.

Cozy room, lukewarm shower, overpriced

Liked: I wish there had been a breakfast - it being a B & B, after all. It should be recategorized as just a “B” or “B & no B”. The room itself was comfortable and the building beautiful. It was quiet for the most part. Good location. A nice general store across the street.
Disliked: Offer breakfast and no hot shower. The price was totally inflated, marathon or not. I did not have one hot shower - the plumbing is so old it was always lukewarm.
