Lovely stay near Gare de...

Liked: Amazingly well renovated old building. My room was tiny (even though I was apparently upgraded), but all the existing space was really well organized for a comfortable stay. Small cube-like shelves had a row of hangers set-up below, while inside one cube, there was a kettle and a hair-dryer. Below TV there is a metal minishelf, perfect for my laptop and it also has some electric plugs. The room had a special stand for my suitcase. The bathroom set-up included a sink and a shower cube right inside the tiny bedroom..but it all worked well. I really loved that the round mirror above the sink was largre and came with a built-in light. Also, good bed-side lighting.. Fantastic location for catching TGV from Gare de Lyon (about 400m). Also, there is an amazing coffee shop-bakery next to the hotel..
Disliked: The bed was incredibly soft and the corridors were tiny...but perhaps that's the charm of central Paris..

Liked: Staff was super attentive and super fast in helping with some issues. breakfast was various enough. we were offered different types of yogurt, omelette, fruits, bakon, bread, cucumbers, cheese, croissant and pain au chocolat

Best hotel in the area,...

Liked: This hotel has amazing staff (and is not understaffed, like many other hotels in Paris). There is always someone who can help you. The location is fantastic and the rooms have everything you need. Our room (superior) had a fantastic balcony. There are a lot of extras you can use (free coffee, umbrella on loan, etc.). We stayed in many hotels in this area, and this one is clearly the best.
