Liked: The breakfast was perfect! It was everything that I needed and more. We loved having access to the bikes. The Inn was welcoming and homey. So much so that I felt comfortable being barefoot. We loved the wine and cheese hour.
Disliked: There were a few times we went looking for a staff member, but they were out of the office. We were able to text with questions, which was great. We understood they were working, so it wasn’t a big problem at all.

Luxurious location for a weekend...

Liked: This is a beautiful building and the rooms are wonderfully furnished, the bed was so comfortable and all the little details were thought of including robes, nice toiletries, coffee etc. The breakfast was simple but perfect, with everything being really high quality. Happy hour with wine and a cheese platter each day was delightful. The owners and staff were super friendly and helpful pointing us in the right direction for everything we wanted to do for our stay in the city. I would recommend this for a luxurious getaway.
Disliked: We stayed on the first floor opposite reception and we could hear a lot of noise and talking early in the morning as people were checking out. Wasn't a huge problem for us and it is to be expected in such an old building but worth pointing out in case this bothers you (or you could ask to not be in that room).

Liked: We really enjoyed out stay, the inn was beautiful, the breakfast delicious and the location was great for walking everywhere we wanted to go. The staff was very hospitable and we will definitely stay again when in Charleston.
