Disgusting smells and unbearable noise...

Disliked: This is my first time ever leaving a review on Booking.com — and I really wish it were a positive one.I stayed here for 3 nights in total—Room 144 and the “Private Room” (Room 110).Room 144 was located right in front of the ice machine, which was so loud and constant that it gave me a headache. And the light was broken and didn’t turn on properly. I couldn’t rest or sleep properly at all.To make things worse, in the middle of the night, a woman suddenly came knocking aggressively on my door asking for cigarettes. I was terrified.The next day, I asked to change rooms and was moved to Room 110. While I was relieved that at least no one would bang on my door this time since it was right next to the lobby, this room came with a new nightmare.There was an overwhelming stench—a mix of urine, spoiled milk, and sewage. The moment I stepped inside, the smell was so bad it gave me a headache.Dust had collected in the corners, and I started sneezing nonstop. It was the final stretch of my 3-month trip across the U.S., and I was completely exhausted, but I couldn’t sleep at all because of the unbearable smell.The next day, I suffered from a horrible migraine and my entire day was ruined.On the final night, I couldn’t take it anymore and asked to switch rooms again. The room on the second floor was slightly better, though there was still a weird lingering smell, kind of like feces coming from somewhere I couldn’t pinpoint.The bedding was torn in several places and smelled disgusting. The smell from the room clung to me so badly that I reeked of that disgusting odor all day. The building is obviously very old and extremely poorly maintained. I was deeply disappointed and honestly felt like I had wasted my money.Out of the 30 or so accommodations I stayed in during my 3-month U.S. trip, this was by far the worst. I ended my journey in tears with a splitting headache.If you’re sensitive to smells, sounds, or general cleanliness, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.

Spend the extra money and...
Liked: Probably the lowest cost hotel closest to orange county beaches. Ok place to crash for a night if you drink enough at the sushi restaurant next door or you just want to be close to the beach. Little bit of a walk for beach access or short drive or bicycle ride. Nearby restaurants and shops.
Disliked: Bed wasn't great by any stretch of the imagination and bathroom floor and shower was dirty. Cash deposit is required for any room damages and the room must be inspected prior to check out for the deposit to be returned. A list of damage cost per item is provided.

Liked: Location was great very close to lots of shopping.
Disliked: Although the bed seemed clean the rest of the room was obviously not cleaned. The floor had dirt, dust, and crumbs while the shower was slimy and had debris. The photos were old as the room we stayed in was more aged and worn than what was shown

Disliked: I am writing to formally request a full refund for my recent stay at 777 Motor Inn, booked via Booking.com. Due to unacceptable and unsanitary conditions, my family and I were forced to vacate the property shortly after checking in.We arrived at the property around 4:00 PM. While the exterior was already somewhat disappointing, we had initially chosen the location because it was advertised as being just 300 feet from the beach—a priority for us during our family getaway.Upon entering the first room, I immediately noticed an overwhelming amount of dust in the air, which triggered discomfort due to my respiratory condition (for which I use an inhaler). Cleanliness was clearly not up to standard. I was traveling with my two young children (ages 6 and 7) and my elderly father, and this environment was not only uncomfortable but potentially hazardous to our health.I went to the front desk within minutes to express my concerns. The staff member did not listen to my concerns, and instead simply offered another room. I inspected the second room, only to find a dead roach on the floor and overall worse conditions than the first.Still hoping for a resolution, I accepted an offer to inspect a third room on a higher floor, which the staff claimed would be “cleaner.” That room, while it had a better view, was just as poorly maintained. At this point, I had inspected three rooms in a span of approximately 45 minutes while my family remained in the first room, waiting anxiously.When I returned to request a refund, I explained the unacceptable conditions, my health issues, and the fact that the rooms were uninhabitable. The front desk agent refused, citing a 15-minute complaint policy (which I had adhered to), and then made a highly inappropriate and offensive remark, accusing me of using the room “for pleasure.” This comment was not only inaccurate but deeply disrespectful, especially given I was with my children and father.
