It was good overall.

Liked: I liked the staff, all very helpful and courteous. The room was generally clean and functional. The price was quite attractive. The proximity to the airport would have been a great asset if not for complicated access.
Disliked: The TV in the room was not functional. I had other things to do but this was a bit of a glitch. There was a chemical smell in the room. There were very few restaurant or grocery options in the neighborhood and the access to BER was both expensive (taxi) and complicated (train). Having a shuttle to the airport would go a long way, especially if hotel wished to help make the bookings.

Liked: the rooms were clean and functional. Parking was conveniently close to the rooms.
Disliked: We booked two rooms with air conditioning, but in one of them the air conditioning didn’t work. That same room also had a really bad smell, so we had to sleep with the window open, which felt a bit unsafe since the window was very large and opened directly onto the roof deck of the parking garage, where guests’ cars were parked and there was free access.I had informed well in advance that one of the rooms needed to be near the elevator and have separate beds. However, this request had not been fulfilled. The man at the reception did try his best to arrange it. It just took a really long time because he had to click through each room individually and even had to go check the rooms himself. That kind of process really shows the weakness of the system.
