Cozy room, comfortable bed, and...

Liked: We were welcomed by the desk clerk, and the entire check-in process was quick and easy. The lobby and hotel room were clean and comfortable. Overall, the room was nice and the bed was cozy. We did not use the hotel gym or pool, but we did go and investigate. The gym was small but offered a good variety and was very clean. The pool was also clean. For those of you who are into Starbucks, there is one attached to the hotel lobby, and the hotel offered a 10% off discount. We preferred to walk a very short distance to the Tavern on the corner for a latte or cappuccino. The hotel is located close to free transportation to Mid Beach and South Beach. The hotel is within walking distance of a variety of restaurants and bars.
Disliked: The view from our room overlooked the water on the non-beach side. The only drawback was that our room was over a lower roof that may have been over a restaurant, and there was a weird smell that came up to our balcony.

Liked: Expectations of a clean proper room. Balcony was nice. Loved being able to borrow chairs, umbrella and towels. I will warn you to get them early or you will get not so nice last ones.
Disliked: Pictures/ outline of the room was a bit deceiving. Smaller than expected, however was still very nice. Hate having to pay $40 a night for parking but that was in the paperwork when I booked so we were prepared.
