Very pleasant stay, during which...

Liked: Convenient location. The Museum of Natural History, V&A, are just nearby. 8-10 mins talk to Gloucester Rd and South Kensington Subway stations. Extremely friendly and helpful staffs. The beds are very comfortable. Good quality breakfast. Highly recommend!

Comfy and quiet stay in...

Liked: I had a lovely night's stay at this hotel. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and helpful, helping me out with a decaf teabags on request, and the room was comfortable and quiet. Excellent bathroom, comfy bed, tea and coffee facilities, fridge and good wifi even in a basement room. I slept well. The area is a nice one, right next to museums and close to restaurants, transport links and Kensington Gardens/Hyde Park....I recommend walking from the hotel to Kensington High Street to get a genuine feel for the area.I always try to stay in historic London properties and this is a lovely and interesting example that is reminiscent of the area. I would recommend this hotel and thank them for a brief but pleasant stay.

A really nice place to...

Liked: A very comfortable and beautifully located property. The reception staff were superb and couldn't have been more helpful. Easy access to any floor with the neat little lift was a bonus.
Disliked: All good! A little pricier than some local properties, but worth it.

Fabulous

Liked: Nice room, excellent staff, so helpful. Airline lost my suitcase and the staff were really helpful with keeping me informed about its arrival and helping me find an alternative hotel as they were fully booked and I need extra night.
Disliked: Nothing at all.

Liked: The staff are very nice, and the location is great. The bed is very comfortable, and the room is very clean and a decent size (for a solo traveler). The in-room coffee machine was lovely!
Disliked: I was given a basement room upon arrival, but when I asked them to check for a better room, they did so immediately. I loved the new room, and they handled it perfectly.
