Great hotel and location. Attentive...

Liked: Great location. Very quiet and nicely air conditioned as we actually had a heat wave at the time of our visit.
Disliked: If you had mobility issues then you needed to tell the hotel BEFORE arriving as the lift was in 2 parts. One part stops at floor 2. To go higher you have to go down a small flight of stairs to a second lift that takes you to floors 3&4.

Excellent, I wish I could’ve...

Liked: Staff were absolutely exceptional. The perfect balance of polite, helpful, friendly but also with some authentic personality and a sense of humour. They helped me out with a later checkout due to a work commitment and also took care of my luggage afterwards, and showed an interest in my stay and activities. A pleasure to interact with them. I just had a small single room, but it was very cute with an interesting layout with steps down into a lovely bathroom. Great shower. I really liked it- it has more personality than your average hotel. I’d love to stay again. Location was amazing too.
Disliked: Nothing. It was all fabulous.

Very nice hotel, reasonably priced...

Liked: Location, location, location. Five minutes from the Royal Albert Hall, Hyde Park and right in the heart of Kensington with beautiful bars, restaurants and cafes
Disliked: The aircon had a bit of a rattle but, luckily, I wear earplugs at night. Curtains weren't blackout
