Liked: Location to Souther Cross Hospital

Liked: As previous reviews mention, yes 299 is quite dated but it is very very clean. The hostess is so friendly, helpful and welcoming as are the cleaning staff. 299 has great parking and it is walking distance to the CBD. We were also able to take our dog with us, which was fabulous.

Disliked: You can hear next door pee, poo and snore

Met all of our needs....

Liked: Very easy to find. Easy parking. Easy drive to restaurants. Dog friendly. Pool. Very comfortable. Had everything you could need. Very clean.
Disliked: Nothing.

Disliked: The TV remote on/off didn't work, and a note by the TV, and the note stated that,but also the down volume didn't work. Big long threads of cobwebs above the bed and curtain pelment which I cleaned off with a pillow

Disappointing

Disliked: Everything was good overall, but there were a few areas that could be improved. It would be great if more amenities were provided, such as bathroom slippers, a toothbrush and toothpaste, coffee and milk. Also, there were no tissue papers available. Adding these items would make the stay even more comfortable.”

Comfortable Beds and Friendly Staff

Liked: I stayed in 1 bedroom on 1st(2nd?) floor, the ceiling was high and there was a sense of openness.also, beds are very comfortable and wide enough.
Disliked: I was a bit worried about the door rattling in the wind.

Very good
