Quirky and comfy near the...

Liked: Convenient to the Eurostar and transport around Paris. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Quirky decor that was interesting to look at.

Excellent . Very interesting hotel.

Liked: We chose the location immediately opposite Gare du Nord. The hotel from reception to room to dining room was excellent. Clean, well maintained and very different to bland hotels. The room was very large, well equipped and so was the bathroom.The breakfast was very good indeed. Well cooked and very well presented. The variety and quality were excellent. Cost was on a par with other equivalent standard of hotel but was set apart by its difference. The staff were friendly and approachable.The free mini bar for your first night was a very welcome touch.We were allowed to keep our larger bags in ĺeft luggage for two days whilst we travelled elsewhere.
Disliked: We stayed on two separate nights - Wednesday and Saturday but the main lift was broken both nights. The option was to use a very small lift.It was a long way from the lift to the room along a zig zag corridor.I was disappointed with the coffee served at breakfast. I was hoping for good tasting coffee but it was luke warm, not very flavoursome from a flaskThese were minor issues and would definitely stay at a 25 hours hotel again.

Liked: Great breakfast - lots to choose from. Opens at 6:30 which is perfect for an ”early” person like myself.Helpful staff/night staff.
Disliked: The area outside to hotel is quiet dodgy in the early mornings. When I took my usual early morning walk I got harrassed by drug addicts who clearly weren’t sober. But of course this isn’t the hotel’s fault. Outside train stations in big cities- that’s the crowd. But something to keep in mind to avoid having a vacation ruined by getting mugged or stabbed.

Exceptional

Liked: This is my favourite hotel in Paris. It has a great atmosphere, very comfortable rooms with thoughtful touches, and an exceptional breakfast. It is also extremely handy for Gard du Nord.
Disliked: There is nothing to mention here. I like everything about this hotel.
