Liked: Very homely feeling.Super friendly staff.One of the best hotel breakfasts.
Disliked: The pillows in the room could be a bit harder.

Liked: The hotel has a nice and quirky decor and several unusual amenities, like a listening room and a station to design a message-in-a-bottle (Flaschenpost).
Disliked: The hotel is located opposite a new shopping mall. While we were there, an alarm went off at the unopened mall and an emergency message was playing NONSTOP for two nights straight. I couldn't sleep even with ear plugs in... ruined the experience for me. Hotel staff was helpless and didn't offer a change of room or any form of compensation.

Liked: Very lovely design, cozy, comfortable, clean. Lovely staff and local recommendations. The sauna is amazing!

Liked: Extremely friendly anḍ accommodating staff. Organized a transfer to the restaurant and assisted in general matters. The hotel is perfectly situated in the Hafen City, with the new shopping mall, University, underground train station and many other amenities nearby.
Disliked: Breakfast was miserable. If you pay 46 Euro for two, you expect to be treated like any other guest - whether you come early or arrive late. We came 30 min before closure, and literally, only bread crumbs were left over and some dried-out rolls. More or less the same for cheese and 'wurst', though thanks to the friendly staff, we've got an extra plate with some cheese. Next time we will book without breakfast included, and enjoy the many coffee places in the new Westfield mall.
