Disappointing

Liked: breakfast and the view from the breakfast floor
Disliked: Everything was great except the 2 employees who received us in the front desk 3rd floor we have arrived around 5-6 pm One of them was aggressive she requested the ID before saying hello in a bad way, i was giving my printed booking and she refused to take it from my hand. Later She requested guarantee amount, i told her to take the exact amount only, she said this is the policy i asked her to call her supervisor. The supervisor was also not helpful, and she started fighting instead of taking care of customer. I understand it is the policy and i can deal with that i have no issue. But being rude in your response like this with customers will harm your reputation.

Liked: Beautiful hotel with really nice view over the zoo.
Disliked: We did not get the hotel room we had originally booked. The hotel staff said they had tried to contact us, and when I asked how, I was told they didn’t have my phone number. However, they could have easily messaged us through Booking.com. We were offered the correct room the following day, but I explained that this wasn’t possible as we were running the Berlin Half Marathon. The staff said they would move our belongings for us.The next morning, I made sure everything was packed and ready, which took considerable effort. But when I returned in the evening, the move hadn’t been done. The staff then told us we should have requested it again. Repeatedly, they tried to shift the blame for their mistake onto us.The hotel itself is excellent in every way—except for the attitude of the staff. Unfortunately, there is no sense of “customer first” from them. I truly hope they work on improving that.

Disliked: bit outdated interior, feels 2010s...the monkey rooms are better called forest roomshotel services are basic to medium - not what you would expect for the price tag
