Classic Home in a Beautiful...

Liked: Brian & Jimmy were great hosts and had everything prepared for our arrival. In the morning, Jimmy prepared a delightful and filling English style breakfast: coffee, tea, muffins (with home made jelly!), juices, sliced fruits, and then came the scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, mushrooms, and broiled tomatoes. To top it off was a choice of home made fruit pies! We were the only guests for the night, but they didn't skimp on anything. The Fairfield Historic District was a fantastic place for an early morning walk. So many beautiful homes!
Disliked: The TV in the room was only 19" or so, and the channel selection wasn't very broad. Brand new smart TVs are only $89 on Amazon and would provide a welcome upgrade. Also, there's no microwave available in the kitchen, so we couldn't heat any late night snacks.

Liked: Delightful quaint building kept in excellent condition. Supremely hospitable staff. They went out of their way to ensure they could cater to our dietary restrictions.
Disliked: The shower smelled vaguely moldy, although there was no visible sign of any mold or mildew anywhere.

Liked: This is a beautiful home with the kindest of gentlemen hosting you. The food was delicious and the smells of the house were captivating.
Disliked: Everything was wonderful.

Liked: The breakfast was wonderful. Particularly the "oh, so delicious blackberry fried pies".
Disliked: The bed had a hard lump in it on the right side of the bed. I couldn't get comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was very low.

Liked: Incredible bed and breakfast! The host was lovely, he shared stories about the history of the town and cooked a fabulous breakfast. We will never forget our experience here. Our stay exceeded expectations.
