2400 Motel

Horrible. Will never be back....

Liked: Maintenance guy was good, fixed our door handle quickly
Disliked: Worst bed i’ve ever slept on (didnt sleep much, was brutal). Doors rotten, handle was falling off, sink was cracked and also looked like it was about to fall off. Just overall a really terrible motel in pretty much every way. Was actually just funny how bad it was. And the inflated price for the long weekend just made it that much worse

Liked: Good location. Staff friendly. Accommodated us at short notice
Disliked: Booked 2 rooms. Bugs climbing the wall in one room so all stayed in the second room. Rodents running around the car park

An easy place to sleep.

Liked: Nice location and nice staff. A good attempt at modernising a retro motel.
Disliked: There was an underlying smell to the room - as though someone had previously resided in the room for a long period of time.

Reception robs you the deposit

Disliked: All room is broken, its need a renovation. In room for 2 people only a single bed . We were asking to change the room for have a bigger bed or 2 single beds , receptionist couldn’t help us with it . Everything dirty , hairs in bathroom. We paid 300CAD deposit, receptionist promised to us that they will unblock and refund the amount in the day of check out . When on the next day we start to call there for the refund, receptionist told us that we should wait 2 more days. After 3 days of check out - they already saying that we should wait another week .

Liked: Location being out of downtown
Disliked: Needed updates and remodeling. Update your appliances. Refrigerator door seal coming off. After dark feeling unsafe because of people who were not staying there hanging around. When I arrived there was a man smoking drugs on the picnic table nearby. Did not have the all the things stated in your ad
