Royal Terrace a quiet cobbled street is just a short walk from the buzz of the city. This stylish boutique hotel has the added touch of the owner's ever-changing art collection and a dedicated whiskey bar serving rare and unique scotch malt whiskey and adding a new chapter to Royal Terrace's history as 'Whiskey Row'. Due to the nature of a grade A listed building each of the 14 rooms are accessed by stairs and there is no elevator at the property. Each room is delicately furnished with premium cotton linen and luxurious bathrobes. Decent but too costly for...

Disliked: Room no a/c, blackout curtains NOT, no place to put clothes, seating area for one person, could not ventilate room without leaving windows open thus traffic noise till 11 pM.

I had such a wonderful...

Liked: Sure! I had such a wonderful stay at this hotel! The space was filled with spectacular art that made the perfect backdrop for some beautiful pictures with my daughter. The staff were absolutely amazing—friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile. They helped us with our luggage up and down the stairs and even helped me pick out the perfect hat for a special event. I really appreciated the early check-in they arranged, which fit perfectly with my schedule. The breakfast was absolutely scrumptious with generous portions, and the peaceful bar offered the perfect spot to unwind. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so memorable!

Liked: Breakfast was out of this world. 5*
Disliked: I booked a single room so expected a smaller space. It was however very tiny albeit with everything I needed during my stay in a very compact room.

Lovely hotel but hard steps...

Liked: Breakfast very good with a lot of choices. Should suit all.Whisky bar very nice
Disliked: The house is graded an there is no lift. Be sure to ask for a room lowest floor possible. The climb to the 3rd floor is hard.
