Liked: Beuatiful Georgian Rowhouse. Well maintained with a lovely garden up to Calton Hill. Convenient to tram and bus lines and some distance to old center High Street but certainly walkable.

Liked: The staff made me feel like family, special thanks to Robin, Peter, Joseph, Tony, and both ladies at the front desk. Incredible food, unforgettable whisky tasting, and spot-on recommendations. Best hotel in Edinburgh, hands down

Liked: The staff were wonderful, I needed help with so many things, even setting up my phone for the UK, and I always got service with a smile. I really enjoyed my stay here.The breakfasts were amazing.
Disliked: I really have no complaints, but if I had realized the uphill walk home, I might have reconsidered booking here. But I was able to get a bus most of the way home so it was not really an issue. No elevator, but I knew that before I arrived and I could always get help with my luggage. again, not an issue.

Liked: Lovely garden and great staff. Breakfast was delicious.
Disliked: There was a problem with the water but they resolved it quickly and not a permanent problem. I didn’t love the art.
