Liked: Ok, for anyone taking the time to read these reviews, BOOK NOW! So, I am a bit of a snob when it comes to hotel stays. I expect to receive everything I paid for which includes the customer service. Therefore, I pay for top notch quality and that is exactly what I received.Let's start with my arrival. I didn't have to worry about parking because Stan took care of valet parking before I could say onomatopoeia. He greeted me the way an uncle would...a friendly smile, confident in his job, and sure that my car would be in good hands.I forgot the young lady's name at check in (her race absolutely does not mattet but if it help to get kudos to the right person, she was a yound African American with beautiful braids) but she also very friendly and professional. Checking in was a breeze. It might take you longer than expected to get to your room, not because of checking in but because you will be amazingly overwhelmed by all of the artwork in the lobby.Next, my room was perfect. Nice view of the city, comfortable bed (not too soft and not too firm) clean fresh white sheets, a fridge, beautiful black tiled bathroom. Can we pause for the shower. I'm talking perfect shower pressure and temperature ladies. Oh and cute touch with the lil rubber

Would not stay here again.

Disliked: The mattress was very uncomfortable certain lights were out and even with them on, the room was poorly lit especially for those with low vision The bar menu is too limited and bar hours are too short.

Superb

Liked: Loved the layout of the room, especially the duck in the shower which was a really nice touch.
Disliked: Nothing really but the lift buttons were not all that easy to see.

Would never stay there again.

Disliked: The room was horrible! I had two rooms because the first one the ceiling had a LOT of water damage on the ceiling and in the bathroom, there were bugs in the room and stained carpet. The second room was not as bad but had the same problems minus the bugs

A Night On the Town.

Liked: The space was excellent. The museum was impressive and I would love to visit again. The room amenities were great. The bar and restaurant provided excellent service. So many things were considered for my comfort.
Disliked: My TV was a bit dark and I didn't have a room with a view. I really would have loved to see more of the city from my window.

The appeal of the hotel...

Liked: Location is great
Disliked: Could hear train early in the morning, lots of areas of hotel were blocked off due to renovation, broken elevator being repaired, could not enter in building due to key card swiper being out of service.

Pleasant

Disliked: expensive for what it was
