Decent place to stay due...

Liked: Good location, could walk to restaurants and shops. And has parking. I stayed in the “house” next to the Inn, which could use some upgrades but was fine for one night.
Disliked: Train tracks directly behind the property. Freight train went through twice during the night, which shook the entire building and interrupted sleep.

Liked: Service friendly. Fresh squeezed OJ ! Wine and cheese before dinner. Location to heart of town and minutes from Monticello and hiking trails

Liked: Nice staff, pretty room and lounge areas. A lovely afternoon wine and cheese. Located close to a bestselling g street full of restaurants.
Disliked: Our room was located at the back of the building which was very close to a railway line. The passing of very loud, long freight trains disturbed us all through the night.Breakfast was adequate but could be nicer.

Disliked: There wasn’t anything that I didn’t like.

Liked: Very welcoming, tasteful, and well appointed. Staff went the extra mile to help with whatever we asked about.
Disliked: Once or maybe twice a night a train rumbled by. This didn't wake me but it did my sister-in-law. Definitely not a dealbreaker, though. We recommended this inn to an old friend already!

Liked: Staff was friendly and professional. The grounds were beautiful. Room was modern but historic too. I would highly recommend 200 S St Inn, if you visit Monticello.
