Liked: The host was lovely and helpful, the room was nice and clean and a good size and very comfortable, the breakfast was great with both cold and hot options, the location was great (just 10 min walk to the train station and 5 min walk to the town centre and other transport links). We really enjoyed our stay!

Liked: Everything is perfect. The room is clean and the breakfast is delicious. Really love the homemade jam. BTW, Mr Hilton is the best host in the world!

Liked: Breakfast is delicious plenty choice and cooked with love location is brilliant just a few minutes away from all bars and restaurants would highly recommend

Liked: Immaculate and very well presented. Very close to the town centre with a great choice of eateries.

Lovely break in the Lake...

Liked: Hilton was very welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful with information on bars and restaurants in the area. We had a lovely break over New year's eve. The hotel is close to the centre of Windermere but in a quiet location. It's a good 20 minute walk down to Bowness and the lake, but we got taxis back up each evening. Breakfast was freshly cooked and there was a good choice of food.
Disliked: Nothing not to like. The weather was wet, but it was winter, and where do you think the lakes come from ? 😀

Great place to stay when...

Liked: This is the best B&B we stayed in. The room was well appointed and very clean. Our host, Hilton, was very accommodating and gave some great advice on travelling around the area. Breakfast was great. There were several restaurants in walking distance and it wasn’t far to walk to Bowness on Windermere. If we are ever in the area again we would definitely stay at 1 Park Road.
