Liked: The staff were welcoming and the man at the front desk was most helpful. We didn't realise that children were free for breakfast. The room facilities were not great but it was a 3 star. The carpet felt sticky and grubby. There weren't enough hangers in the wardrobe x 3 for a family & the shower took some time to heat up before anyone could get in it. Behind the bed was not hoovered, (we looked to see if we'd left anything ) our kettle smelt of smoke and had to be changed but this was quickly remedied. The linen was clean. The bed was comfortable. It served our purpose before moving on to our next hotel the Marriott.

Disliked: Terrible experience! I booked 2 rooms from 24th to 28th April 2024 for me and my family. Upon arrival we were given 2 small, dirty, noisy and smelly rooms, without any kind of comfort. A room with a bed leaning against the wall. Broken and dirty curtains, carpet dirty and torn in several places. Rooms absolutely different from those photographed on Booking’s site. The following morning we asked to change rooms, on the other floors the rooms seemed better. We were told that the hotel was full. We then asked if we could leave the hotel two days early and if we would be reimbursed for the two nights that we would not have used and already paid for. We were told yes. The next day we booked another hotel and checked out, and were promised a refund within a few hours. Not receiving the refund the same day, I returned to the hotel to find out why the refund had not been issued and we were told that they had changed their mind and that I would not be refunded for the two rooms not used for the two nights. I was scammed 2 times!

Disliked: Was dust in room, milk had gone off, can't use desk as no chair and one draw had no handle.

Liked: The receptionists were very nice and helpful, good service and excellent breakfast.

Great place to stay if...

Liked: Easy to find and safe area. Room was a good size with all necessary amenities and friendly staff.
Disliked: Rooms were a little outdated and the lift is very small!
