The Spotlight on À l'Adresse du Centre-Ville

Charming Downtown B&B Steps from Montreal's Music Scene

À l'Adresse du Centre-Ville is a cozy, 3-star bed and breakfast tucked into the heart of downtown Montreal. With its warm, homelike vibe and unbeatable location near metro stations and iconic music venues, it’s a favorite for travelers who want a more personal stay while catching a show in the city. Guests enjoy free WiFi, air conditioning, and access to a peaceful shared lounge and outdoor terrace.

Why Concert-goers love it

This B&B is just a short walk from Berri-UQAM Metro Station, making late-night transit after a concert super convenient. While it's right in the action, the residential street location helps keep noise levels low—ideal after a loud night of music. The flexible 3:00 PM check-in allows time to settle in before a show, and the laid-back vibe means you’ll never feel rushed.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends looking for an affordable, central base
  • Solo travelers chasing a bucket-list concert
  • Couples making a weekend of it in Montreal
  • Fans who prefer a quiet recovery space post-show
  • Budget-conscious music lovers who want charm without the price tag

Food and Drink Options

While there’s no on-site restaurant, the B&B is right near plenty of cafes and eateries—some open late. A light breakfast is typically served, great for recharging after a night out. For heartier meals, the surrounding neighborhood offers a wide range of dining from quick bites to local favorites, all within walking distance.

Nightlife Options

Montreal’s vibrant nightlife is right at your doorstep. From live music venues to buzzing bars and relaxed lounges, you can pre-game or wind down just blocks away. Although the B&B itself doesn’t offer on-site entertainment, its central location makes it easy to find a scene that suits your post-concert mood.

What People Say

Guests love the friendly hosts, clean and comfortable rooms, and the walkable location. Many mention how quiet the rooms are despite being in a busy area, and the cozy atmosphere makes it feel like a home away from home. The free WiFi and air conditioning are appreciated, especially in the warmer months.

Areas for Improvement

Some travelers noted that the rooms are on the smaller side and the décor is a bit dated—but this adds to the classic B&B charm. There’s no elevator, so those with heavy luggage might want to request a lower floor.

The Bottom Line

À l'Adresse du Centre-Ville is a warm, wallet-friendly option for concert-goers who want easy access to venues without sacrificing peace and comfort.

Good

Liked: The hostess was lovely. We enjoyed the personal breakfast, with homemade items. She also helped us plan our visit.
Disliked: I expected the parking to be included. The information fron "Booking" was not clear.I also expected the room to be made up during the day.

A great stay

Liked: Very good location. Comfy bed and quiet. Sharing a bathroom was better than I expected. It was a large bathroom and easy to get to. Breakfast was delicious and the lady who owns the place was super kind and helpful.
Disliked: Room was small but this is mentioned on the booking site.

This B&B is a very...

Liked: this B&B is a very good location for people who are in holiday, not for people who are in business. The athmosphere is very relaxed, space is generous and people can feel they are in a family context. A kitchen and a confortable living room are also available. I liked the beakfast prepared by Nathalie, the owner. Tnere is non sefl-service anyway and the choice is limited.
Disliked: If you have to work, the location may be far from the business center, and you need to book the time for your beakfast, which is provided at 8am by deafult. If you travel in summer, the air conditioning in the rooms is very problematic as it is very noisy and rather old. I do not recommend it if you need to sleep well.

Well located, cosy and friendly...

Liked: Very well situated, friendly staff, great homemade breakfast with other guests in a cosy dining room setting.
Disliked: I slept with my windows open (because it was hot and I don’t like to use air conditioning). The street below can get pretty noisy at night.

Charming place in great location

Liked: The location is great. It’s close to everything, but on a quiet residential street. And just a couple minutes walk from Berri-UQAM subway station. Nathalie is a great host and made us feel welcome. Our room was on the ground floor and had everything we needed. Breakfast was consistently good.
Disliked: Our room packed enough quirkiness for a room twice its size. Sloping floors, a mysterious hatch to the basement, the shower with 5 different surfaces. But if you don’t want a bit of the unusual, get a Holiday Inn. There are 18 steps up to the Main part of the inn, more up to the terrace.

Will plan to stay here...

Liked: Warmly welcomed by all. Seated around a large breakfast table while our lovely host Natalie thoughtfully provided an array of homemade food items. What a wonderful way to meet new friends from around the world.
Disliked: There was nothing we didn't like.
