Carmella’s Plates & Pints is the first restaurant for co-owners, Carmella Salem and Michael Alberter. The kitchen creates a variety of upscale comfort cuisine.
The decor has a lodge-like feel due to the wooden beamed cathedral ceiling, an open fireplace, taxidermy and stained glass windows that adorn the dining room. Our guests feel as though they are tucked away in a warm and cozy ski lodge in the heart of Southside.
A Local Butcher delivers meats daily and they are always looking for unique items to prepare in new and inventive ways. Wild game plates can be on the menu such as a couple of staple dishes like our Bison Burger and Veal Bolognese. The menu changes seasonally and nightly specials are prepared with the hopes of making it onto our ever-evolving menu.
