Liked: the location and the kitchen
Disliked: the room was dark and dusty. Without notice they did some electric work and the light was turn off at 09:00. So no light in the bathroom nor in the room! The room (108) doesnt have any daylight so that was an issue for me. Also the air-con wasn't displaying anything and I had to use a small electric heater which was not the most efficient for a room of this size.

great value for money, comfortable...
Liked: was great value for money, staff were very helpful and friendly and the room was clean and spacious. Bed was very comfortable, location was great too, short walk to the pier and all the nightlife bars, pubs and clubs around also walking distance.
Disliked: I had my car with me and there was nowhere to park apart from the car park about 5 mins away which cost a lot of money to keep overnight. Hotel should arrange some discount with the car park. There was a bit of a draft coming through the window, had to put the the heater under the window to overcome this, not sure why they don't put in modern glassing instead of these old wooden ones.

Liked: The location was perfect. Fabulous sea view looking out at the pier. Staff couldn't have been more helpful if they tried. Superb value for money. Spotlessly clean. Definately planning a return visit.
Disliked: There was nothing not to like.

Liked: The room was nice and spacious. Also the bathroom was really modern. The hostel is also opposite the pier so the location is great.
Disliked: One lady just walked into our room telling us the rules of the hostel. I understand that there are rules that everyone needs to respect but we never heard her knock. She said that she knocked twice but no one heard her. I asked her if any staff could just walk in at any time and she gave me a rude look and tried to avoid the question. She made me and my friends uncomfortable and on edge for the rest of the time we was there because we was worried that someone would just walk in. If they knocked that?s fine but you should wait to be told to come into the room instead of just walking in. Again, I understand that there are rules and we did respect them but we could have been told about them in a different way.
