Amazing area and fantastic location....

Liked: Fantastic area. Great location in stunning countryside, not far from an amazing farm shop and cafe. Big car park right outside the door and good food in the bar.
Disliked: An automated email offering a paid upgrade, which I accepted. The hotel then declined the offer by email, and the next day offered me a "name your price" upgrade, which I ignored. They missed out on extra income and added a level of confusion and irritability to the check-in process. I checked in online but still had to wait at the check-in desk.

Disliked: Everything was paid extra, breakfast, spa, towels in the spa, would have been nice if it was all in one package.

Disliked: Having to pay £10 for spa unable to book any of the facilities might just as well gone to a ordinary hotel

Liked: Lovely stay, and the spa is incredible even though its small. The staff were lovely, parking was great, and it's a very short walk to the centre of Llangollen.
Disliked: Our room was nothing special, but perfectly fine for what we paid: Clean and comfortable if not particularly memorable.
