Lovely, clean, quirky hotel at...

Liked: The hotel was beautiful, spotlessly clean, lovely room, lovely bar. It's in a perfect spot for everything. Just a really lovely. quirky place to stay and I would definitley return.
Disliked: The only one complaint we had was when we tried to use the shower on our second night the water was cold but it was 9pm and we presumed that the water had been used by all of the other rooms because we left it so late to take a shower. It didn't take the shine off our stay though whatsoever.

Liked: Our room was clean and spacious with a very comfy bed. We didn't have a meal in the hotel, but our breakfast was very good with a wide selection of hot and cold food. All the staff were friendly, polite and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you everyone!

Excellent value for money for...

Liked: Location couldn't have been better in between Windemere and Bowness. Room was spacious and dog friendly.The food in the restaurant was the best we have had for a long time with excellent service.
Disliked: Breakfast would have been nice but we knew in advance that it was room only but there were plenty of places to pop out to for breakfast close by.We were worried about parking but a very small car park 100yds away was £19 for three days. Very limited spaces however so you may have to queue a while if you go out for the day.

Great from start to finish....

Liked: Great restaurant and bar. Very good value for money. Would definitely go back.
Disliked: Bathroom was a little dingy but had no impact on the stay. Room was very warm but big fan provided.

Liked: Good location
Disliked: Awful room. Painted black. Not overly clean when we arrived so we didn't bother with room cleaning and just did it ourselves. Tile missing in bathroom. Large amount of fluff in the hole in the wall where tile should be. When door opens fluff blows out then back in. At first I thought it was a mouse. Room was cold. Floors wonky. The gap under the fire door is so big they provide a dog draught excluder. I am amazed that this door would pass a fire inspection.
