Exceptional

Liked: Great size room, everything u need is there, clean and very friendly manager that is happy to help called Sunny. Perfect location, 2 min away from station and town centre. Highly recommend this place. I only booked this place because of the high ratings, and I see why...
Disliked: Nothing.

Good compromise if you look...

Liked: The location is really nice, close to various public transport.

The picture in booking.com is...

Liked: Location is convenient and quite. 5 minutes walk to train/ underground station.
Disliked: There is a window next to pavement, I feel unsafe and dare not to open it at night. The shower doesn't have a door, water split to everywhere while taking shower. I booked a room for 3 adults but the room size is no bigger than the 2 adult room next to us. The building was a 3 floors terrace home with backyard and renovated into a multiple rooms apartment. Most rooms have its unique size and setup but the picture in booking.com only shows few sample pictures, it was misleading.

Disliked: The room was very small it’s not for 2 person I hung my T shirt on in the wardrobe look what happened to it.

Would be good value for...

Liked: The room was in general clean and the receptionist was very nice and attentive.
Disliked: The bathroom had no fan or window so the moment we opened the door to it, we were hit by a very pungent mouldy smell. We felt uncomfortable going in there and were lucky to have a friend close by at whose place we could shower. To avoid the smell seeping into the room we put down a blanket around the door. Definitely not acceptable by Western standards.

Excellent hotel for our short...

Liked: The hotel was perfectly located for our night out in Ilford. The staff were friendly and supportive. The room was a good size, on the ground floor as we had requested, and right next to the outdoor smoking area which made my husband happy! The bed was very soft, but comfortable and the bathroom was well decorated and smart.
Disliked: There was nothing that didn't meet the standard.
