Excellent location but designed really...
Liked: Location to castle and town was great
Disliked: Floor box in shower was extremely slippery when wet. There is nothing to hold on to so felt precarious taking a shower. With no bath tho, there was no alternative.

Liked: Great staff and really helpful. The Knights experience was great and the bed time story also, without the rain it?s a fantastic place and kids will love it.
Disliked: The bed was really bad, not a good nights sleep, a lot of noise when moving from side to side and soft due to over use.

Perfect family weekend getawat
Disliked: Absolutely beautiful place. The liages are brilliant and so comfy. The staff our amazing. The kids really enjoyed, their time with the Knights, sword fighting, treasure hunts, loads of games and story time was a god send. Thank you so much.

Village stay at Warwick Castle....
Liked: The surrounding area. The decoration. Staff and knights were all helpful. Breakfast was very good and service great.
Disliked: It wasn't very clean. Lots of dust on the outside balcony area. And not enough toiletries for 5 people, the tiny bottle of shower gel ran out on the third persons shower. 5 people but only 4 biscuits, didn't provide extra. Not enough tea or sugar. The lodge is very small and compact, but does the job for one night. Once the trundle bed is out you can't move or walk into the kids room at all. There's no iron or small fridge. But you can store food in the main dinning room fridge if you bring any sandwiches, as we did. As our kids are fussy eaters! Also we were not given enough information on the entertainment available/knight school/kids trail, and kept having to walk back to reception. The walk from the village carpark is a good 15 minute uphill walk, with kids that's a bit tiring in the heat, before you even reach! If we knew we could have just moved our car further down the carpark! Other than all these minor issues. Everything was great. And the did kids loved it!

Liked: The tent was pristine the beds really clean and comfortable, there were electrical points and electric lights on the supporting pole in the middle of the tent. The showers were sparkling, there was plenty of room in them, pegs to hang your clothes and a shower curtain. staff very helpful and although we went on our own it was great to see the little knights and princesses enjoying themselves with sword fighting lessons and the bed time story. It's a great place for the children and they obviously loved it. The setting is lovely and it's a short walk to Warwick Castle, the grounds are very well kept. The whole concept is great, very well done
Disliked: The tents are very very close to each other, so when a child woke up crying at 4 o clock in the morning it woke everybody up, We could hear muffled conversations from the tents on one side. It was also very expensive - £18 for a bottle of rose and £11.95 for a very average, ordinary burger. Breakfast was plentiful with a great choice but the quality was poor, Icouldn't eat the veggie sausage The shower facilities are very good but they are family facilities and there are 39 tents to use 4 or 5 showers. This wasn't a problem at all for us as the site wasn't very busy but I imagine in peak season there will be queues. Be aware that if you book with booking.com you do not get a free pass to Warwick Castle, so that cost us another £25 EACH.
