At the very heart of Berlin's City West close to the exclusive shopping boulevard Kurfürstendamm the Waldorf Astoria Berlin offers a sophisticated atmosphere in modern Art Deco style. Guests can relax with one of the signature treatments at Germany's first Waldorf Astoria Spa. The elegant rooms at the Waldorf Astoria feature large flat-screen TVs with an in-room entertainment system. They provide panoramic views of the city and have floor-to-ceiling windows. The upper floors have Berlin's highest suites and some have their own private terrace. ROCA offers light seasonal and Mediterranean cuisine featuring small plate dishes with a rustic home-cooked feel. A large selection of the menu can also be enjoyed as takeaway. Never been more disappointed. Will...

Liked: Arrival and departure
Disliked: A political heavyweight was staying at the hotel and as a consequence all other guests were hugely inconvenienced, ignored and all facilities - including the bar and restaurant - were closed off. Service was awful and the foyer was full of security, military or police. We should have been offered alternative accommodation at the start - not least because as it was the globally controversial President of ISRAEL we also felt we were put at risk just being at he hotel and not once did anyone enquire about our thoughts. It was shocking!
