Liked: The staff was very welcoming, grounds were very nice. Location walking distance to downtown.
Disliked: The rooms were immaculate, but the cleaning smell was a little too strong and I'm rather sensitive to chemicals.

Newport Stay

Liked: The staff, especially Serena, was great. She provided recommendations that were spot on, had our room ready for an early check-in, and made us feel welcome.
Disliked: Not much you can do, but the parking is a little tight.

Liked: Serena, the innkeeper. She is amazing -- attentive, welcoming, good natured, knowledgeable, and funny. She made the stay and I hope is well paid. She is outstanding. The inn is lovely, well appointed and very comfortable. We stayed in the suite and it was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The gas fireplace was great and well used. I loved the garden and being able to walk out into it made the stay special. We had two breakfasts that were delicious with fresh ingredients and well prepared. Serena was extremely accommodating regarding dietary needs. It is a top notch place and we loved it. Thank you.
Disliked: I have only one small issue. The people who were staying above us on both nights were rather loud. There was a lot of what sounded like furniture moving and stomping back and forth. It ceased, but it did go on for a while. I don't know if that's an insulation issue? We could have said something, but I didn't want to seem rude.
