Disappointed

Liked: Not too far from Bakersfield. They have breakfast with waffle makers that you spin, so that's a plus. They also offer cereals with milk or orange juice. The front desk person is always friendly and helpful. reasonable prices! Very peaceful out there. Next to plenty of gas stations, a Tesla charging station just a bit down the way, and a Starbucks close by.
Disliked: I have stayed here many times over the years. A few years ago it was nice. The rooms lately have been dirty. They smell of musty fences immediately as you walk in the room, and the bedding doesn't get changed at all. I got a room and flipped a pillow over and it had sweat marks all over it and it was brown. I asked to be switched to a new room and they put me in the room right next door that was just as dirty. There was what looked like old gum or something stuck to the bottom of the tub. Walking to my room from my car I noticed several vacant rooms through the windows and all had nicer bedding and appeared to be cleaner. I don't understand that. I was traveling for work and was still placed in a nasty room. the pool was absolutely horrifying. It's a nice size pool and it looks to be in good shape, however the water looks uninviting and neglected. It would be nice to be able to swim on hot days as it is advertised in its listing. The house keeping is really really rude and disrespectful to the guests. They do very minimal work, very disappointing

Easy location for an overnight...

Liked: Very easy to find. Convenient location. Very friendly and helpful night duty receptionist. Plenty of parking even for oversized vehicles. A quiet location, clean large room.
Disliked: A very poor breakfast. Cereal, waffle, that is all. There might have been coffee, but no cups. Nothing else, not even napkins. A very messy area with spilled batter, trash, used plates, and an overflowing trashcan.

Liked: The staff was very helpful and friendly. They went above and beyond to help with my needs and the breakfast was fresh and very good.

Liked: The staff was very kind and very helpful. The rooms were clean and not only had a microwave but it also had a fridge which was quite nice. They also offered breakfast with a variety of choices and the waffles were very good.
Disliked: Although the rooms were very clean, there were quite a few holes in one of the bedspreads in our room.

Superb

Liked: room had a vinyl (hard not carpeted floor), fridge with no freezer, microwave and a TV. sufficient towels and tiny little packets of shampoo. But for $50 it was perfect for my chihuahua and me.
Disliked: Nothing really.

Liked: The pool was dirty, smelled gross and closed down. The rooms were dirty, really musty smelling and had pealing paint, broken boards, garbage on floors, dust everywhere.
Disliked: The pool was closed so nobody could use it and the other people staying were very loud and obnoxious
