Liked: Great location near Alton towers, right on the door step. Large and spacious room, perfect hosts,very accommodating, and covid clean and safe.
Disliked: Few more covers on the bed wouldn't have been so bad. The room heating did seem to switch of during the night, and it got abit cold. Tv signal/ bedroom tv not working properly.

Fantastic time away, should have...

Liked: My partner and I had booked the self catering apartment. On arrival we were met by Carol, very helpful and left nothing unanswered. We had booked the accommodation due to its proximity to Alton Towers.......We had booked a two day pass to the attraction. After a long day of walking around the park (12 miles) we were so excited to have somewhere to return to, that felt home from home. We had discussed that on our next visit to the park, we would arrange it around the availability of Trough Ivy House. The apartment is stocked with everything you need for a self catering visit. If there is anything that you would need, you will find the owners extremely approachable. Please note...the admission gates for Alton Towers is a 4 minute walk from the accommodation, do not drive like we did and spend 45mins in a 1 mile traffic queue to the pre-booked carpark.???? Liked: We loved everything! The room was massive and so lovely & homely. Breakfast was lovely and the location couldn?t get better for Alton Towers and the area around is so lovely. Can?t wait to stay there again!
