Liked: THe breakfast was continental, and ok. We went elsewhere.
Disliked: The pool is under construction and parking lot needs rea paving.

This felt like a safe...

Liked: The University Inn was very close to Cal Poly. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was very accommodating. The room had plenty of light.
Disliked: The floor which looked like vinyl was loose. There is construction of a new swimming pool so the grounds had dust and construction debris.

Good location at a good...

Liked: Good value, good location for driving the Pacific Coast Highway, cheaper than many other places near the coast but decent enough quality for the price.
Disliked: We didn't have the self service breakfast as the choice was limited to sausage bread rolls to be heated in microwave (I think?) and a couple of other things we didn't fancy, but if you like a hit burger type breakfast it would be adequate, and the price was great considering the breakfast was included.
