Wonderful

Liked: I stay here regularly due to working in the area. Staff are wonderful and attentive. Rooms always clean. Air con is a big plus. Plenty of choice on menu, reasonably priced.

Liked: I had a very enjoyable stay at Tong Park Hotel ..the staff were very helpful friendly and accommodating There was a lady serving breakfast one morning and she was absolutely super. She was so friendly and helpful nothing was too much trouble for her she really was brilliant. The breakfast was absolutely delicious every day of our stay as was the dinner in the restaurant compliments to the chef ..I will definitely return.
Disliked: The bedroom was clean and comfortable with everything you could want ..the decor could do with freshening up as the paint work looked old and was chipping away but that was the only fault ..

Friendly staff…not a gym

Liked: Friendly staff, lovely setting and decent food
Disliked: Calling it a ‘gym’ is stretching things. There’s a runner, the odd weight and a bike tucked in the corner. The room was a little dated

Not the worst stay but...

Liked: Beautiful building and views. Good room size. Nice bathroom.
Disliked: Staff were not very welcoming on check-in or check out. Breakfast was a chaotic set up, there were only 2 other people when we went down, and if it was chaos, then I can only imagine what it's like when busy! A bar of soap from the previous person who stayed in our room was in the shower. Loads of things in the room and bathroom were broken, drawer handles. The lift was out of order, but on check-in this wasn't shared, just 'go round the corner and the stairs are there).

Disliked: Room was a bit tired but a good size lots of space and clean sheets

Fabulous Staff! Great Breakfast. Great...

Liked: The hotel staff are always superb! They are welcoming and friendly. The gym is a great addition to have when you've been sat in a car all day with work. Breakfast is good, they have plenty on offer. The beds are comfortable and the location is convenient.

Exceptional

Liked: This hotel is in such a quiet and peaceful location right in the country. The only reason I stayed in this hotel was because it had aircon and I needed to get out of London heatwave for the weekend. The UK hotel standard in general is very low compared to the rest of the world's hotels as majority of hotels in UK do not have aircons and across the world, having an aircon is a golden standard so I commend this hotel for having this. The property exceeded my expectations.
Disliked: Everything went smoothly with no real issues at all. Only thing to add would be faster wifi and there was no hair dryer but besides that there were no complaints.

Disliked: There was a wedding on and the music didn’t stop until 3.00am!
